This coming Car Free Sunday on May 31st, we will be having a small bamboo Berimbau making Workshop in front of our academy at Augusta and Oxford in Kensington Market.

The workshop will be simple and about how to prepare the “verga”. It is very hard to find cabaças here, so the preparation of the cabaça will be left for a later time.

It’s free and open to everyone and starts at 3pm.
